Straehle Individual Championship Meet, Wednesday July 27
The Straehle Individual Championship meet will be held on Wednesday, July 27th at Carroll Aquatics Swim Club. This is a meet for which swimmers must have swum a Straehle qualifying time and swum in at least two dual meets during the season. Swimmers can enter up to 3 individual events and a relay. Coaches will talk to Straehle qualifiers to see if they plan to attend and what they want to swim. Rollingwood will have to provide volunteer workers for this meet (typically itís just a few timers) so we will have to organize that based on the entries.
Division II Division Championships, Saturday July 30
This meet follows the same format as our regular dual meets; however it will include all 6 division teams and Rollingwood is limited to 3 entries in individual events and one relay entry per relay event. In order to compete, swimmers must have competed in two dual meets during the current CMSL season. Awards are trophies for places 1 through 3 (relay and individual events) and rosette ribbons for places 4 through 8 (individual events).
We will need to provide volunteers for this meet (6 timers - 3 timers per half, 2 clerk of course - 1 per half, 2 table workers - 1 per half), and 1 person to help with ribbons and trophies for the entire meet. Those assignments will be coordinated after the lineup is finalized. Crofton encourages carpooling. If the lot is full, you may drop off your swimmer in the turnaround area in front of the clubhouse and find a spot to park anywhere on the neighboring streets (Crofton will have personnel on hand to escort swimmers into the pool).
Swim Team End of Season Party and Awards Ceremony, Saturday July 30
